Victim Assistance

Our department recognizes that few, if any, events that may occur in one’s life can compare to the potentially traumatizing effects of being a victim of crime.  The UC Davis Police Department  is committed to provide support to anyone who may become a victim of crime while on the UC Davis campus. A victim advocate is available 24-hours a day, seven days a week through our Center for Advocacy Resources and Education (CARE) to provide support for victims of actual or threatened violence. All services are free and confidential.
