August 2021: Burglaries

WHAT IS THIS NOTICE

LOCATION OFINCIDENT/CRIM

 400 Russell Park, Davis, CA 

 

SUMMARY OF CRIME/INCIDENT 

 On Saturday 8/7/2021 between approximately 11:50 AM and 1:40 PM an unknown suspect entered a ground floor apartment through an unsecured bedroom window and stole numerous personal and electronic items.  The residents were home and inside the apartment at the time of the entry and theft. 

 A suspect was observed outside the building at the time of the crime carrying a distinctive bag that likely belonged to the victim. 

 

Suspect:  White male adult with a beard and wearing a mask on his face.  He was approximately 40 years old, approximately 6’1” – 6’2” tall wearing a black hat, a black shirt, and blue jean shorts.  He was seen carrying two to three bags and wearing a UC Davis Basketball backpack.  The suspect fled the area on a grey road bike. 

 The suspect has not yet been identified and the investigation is ongoing.  Anyone with information on this or similar incidents should contact the UC Davis Police Department at (530) 752-1230.

  • Always secure your doors and windows. 
  • Store documents and valuables in secure locations inside your residence.
