Departmental Policies
The UC Davis Police Department has created a collaborative process for creating department policy. This process has been undertaken with the understanding that all department policy is transparent and open for review by the community. Many members of the UC Davis Police Department, UC Davis Community and other outside supporters have worked diligently to ensure policy is based on federal and state law, regulations and best practices from public safety experts while meeting the needs of the community. The new policy manual, driven by LEXIPOL, will be adopted shortly and replace current out of date policy. This page is currently being updated so feel free to check back often.
