Clery Act

The goal of the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (commonly known as the Clery Act) is to ensure that students, prospective students, parents and employees have access to accurate information about crimes committed on campus and the campus security procedures.

Jeanne Clery Act Annual Security and Fire Safety Report

UC Davis publishes an Annual Security and Fire Safety Report, which includes important information about safety and security policies implemented to protect the welfare of our campus community. The report provides crime statistics for the previous three years regarding crimes that occurred on campus; in certain off-campus buildings; and property owned, leased, or controlled by the university. The report also contains information about fire safety policies and procedures.

The report is prepared by the Campus Clery Coordinator with input from stakeholders on the Davis and Sacramento campuses, including the UC Davis Police and Fire Departments; the Center for Advocacy, Resources, and Education; Student Housing and Dining Services; the Office of Student Support and Judicial Affairs; and Emergency Management and Mission Continuity.
