Ride Along Program

The UCDPD is excited to offer the opportunity for students, faculty, staff, and non-university affiliated community members to ride alongside police officers on patrol. This unique program is intended to be a learning experience both for participants and for police officers. Participants will be able to ask officers questions and observe law enforcement first-hand while the officer performs his/her duties throughout Davis. 

Ride Alongs are typically scheduled in 2 hour blocks, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
