The 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb and Walk is a tribute to the bravery and sacrifice of the first responders who lost their lives on this tragic day. The event begins at the stadium at 7 a.m., for a flag-raising ceremony and opening remarks from Chief Joe Farrow.

At 7:15 a.m., participants begin a symbolic climb of 110 flights of stairs, representing the number of stories first responders climbed in the World Trade Center towers. Those who would like to honor the fallen and show support differently, are invited to a memorial walk of 15 laps around the stadium.
