A Picnic Day Message from Chief Farrow

To our UC Davis community:

 

Picnic Day is fast approaching, and I know our community is excited to embrace the long‑honored traditions and festivities that make this event so special. I sincerely hope you are able to attend and enjoy all that our university has to offer. As you know, Picnic Day is entirely student‑run, and we should all be proud of and supportive of the hard work, dedication and enthusiasm that sustain this rich tradition.

 

I would also like to remind everyone that Picnic Day is a family‑friendly event. Please drive with caution, follow all campus policies and stay safe. Campus first responders will be visible and available throughout the day should you need assistance, and City of Davis first responders will also be on hand to support any incidents that occur off campus.

 

Enjoy your time with family, friends and colleagues. Together, we can make Picnic Day 2026 a tremendous success.
