For UC Davis seniors and graduate students
The UC Davis Cadet Academy is a great opportunity for UC Davis seniors and graduate students interested in law enforcement, forensics, criminology and array of other related professions. We are looking for students to share their exceptionally unique skills in communicating and conflict resolution, and to better serve the diverse groups within our community.
The Police Cadet program is a scholarship competition that provides all participants with training and experience prior to attending a police academy. The top Cadet(s) will receive a full scholarship to attend a police academy anywhere in California. Typically, UC Davis Police Cadets will attend the Napa Valley College Criminal Justice Training Center. Then, upon completion of the police academy, the top graduate will receive priority consideration for hiring by the UC Davis Police Department.
