LOCATION OF INCIDENT / CRIME

Arboretum Drive and Mrak Hall Drive / 211 PC – Attempted Robbery

SUMMARY OF CRIME / INCIDENT

On 8/06/2022, at approximately 9:00 PM, Victim and his friends were pranking by popping out of darkness and scaring people along the arboretum. Two male suspects approached Victim on electric scooters. One suspect presented a small knife and demanded the victim’s personal property. The victim ran off and hid after being chased by the two suspects along the arboretum. The victim reported the incident after returning to his residence.

This crime is currently unsolved, and an investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information about this or similar incidents should call UCDPD at 530-754-COPS (2677). Updates regarding this incident, when and if available, will be posted on the UCDPD website at https://police.ucdavis.edu
