WHAT IS THIS NOTICE
A crime has occurred that does not meet CLERY timely warning criteria, but it is necessary to notify the community due to lack of suspect identity.
LOCATION OF CRIME:
48th Street and X Street, Sacramento CA - Indecent Exposure (314 PC)
SUMMARY OF CRIME
On 06/15/2025, at about 7:55 PM, the victim was walking on the sidewalk when an SUV traveling northbound on 48th Street made a U-turn and parked next to them. The suspect inside the SUV masturbated while staring at the victim and drove away when the victim took out their cell phone to call the police.
This crime is currently unsolved, and an investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information about this or similar incidents should call UCDPD at 530-754-COPS (2677). Updates regarding this incident, when and if available, will be posted on the UCDPD website at https://police.ucdavis.edu
Suspect: 30-year-old heavyset male, white or mixed race, weighed 170-190 lbs. He had shaggy red or dark brown hair, a short curly beard, and light or fair skin. He was wearing a blue or black shirt but no clothing on his lower body.
Vehicle(s): Possibly a 1999 gold or tan Mercury Mountaineer with a hitch ball on the rear bumper.
